Take 2 Markets: Women's Recycled Fashion

Stall hire information:
The $65 stall hire fee paid is inclusive of GST, insurance, advertising, trestle table and chair. By paying the stallholders fee, you have read the “conditions” section of Take 2 Markets and agreed to them.

	• • •	A stall consists of one trestle table (2ft x 6ft) and one chair, with adequate space for 2 clothes racks. Stalls are allocated on a first in first served basis. Stallholders are informed of their stall location when they check in on market day. There are no bad spots, as the hall layout is done in a way that shoppers walk past all tables.

Clothes racks:
Take 2 Markets does not provide clothes racks. You may bring up to 2 clothes racks of your own. Hawthorn Town Hall has a limited number of upright metal mesh racks which can be used for displaying items behind your stall space. These racks are pre-allocated so most stalls will have one or share with a neighbouring stallholder.

Stallholders can sell:
Quality women's second-hand clothing, footwear and accessories.

Stall holders can not sell:
Take 2 Markets is strictly women's wear only. Used perfumes are ok, used make-up is not. No sportswear, swimwear or underwear. Fake or knock off merchandise is illegal and not welcome at Take 2 Markets.

Food (including fruit, jams etc.) or beverages of any kind, animals, cut flowers, poisonous products, prescription medications, illegal or offensive items, firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons or dangerous goods of any kind, cigarettes/alcohol/drugs and illegal drug-related products, the sale of lottery, art union or raffle tickets, the conducting of any guessing game, lucky dip, chocolate wheel, side-show, competition, or game of chance is prohibited. Stallholders can't sell anything that may leak or contain fluids, nothing that may cause damage by being dragged across floors, no items that have legal restrictions upon their sale or disposal.

Security:
Stallholders are responsible for their own stall security and monies. No responsibility is taken by the organisers for theft, loss or damage.

Safety:
The stallholder is responsible for the safety for their stall, and agrees to set items up in a safe and secure manner to avoid any mishaps.

Market cancellation:
Should a Take 2 Market be cancelled due to reasons of emergency, danger, weather conditions, disasters, safety, health concerns, or other reasons that are not in reasonable control of the Take 2 Market organisers (as deemed by the Take 2 Market organisers), then stallholders will not receive a refund of their stall hire paid.

Refund policy:
Sorry, no refunds. If you are unable to attend your booked market stall, you may transfer your booking to a friend/relative.

Advertising, promotional materials, flyers, etc:
All stallholders may hand out advertising or promotional material at their designated stall. The advertising/promotional material may only relate to the products on sale at that stall. Stallholders and their representatives are at no time permitted to distribute advertising or promotional material outside of their stall area (i.e. walking around the venue and handing out flyers and placing flyers under car windscreens). A breach of this condition will result in the stallholder being requested to leave the venue.

Other:
Take 2 Markets shall not be responsible for the compliance by a stallholder with any By-law, Regulation, Act or Statute. Take 2 Markets accepts no responsibility for any transaction entered into in the Market enclosure. Take 2 Markets will not refund stall hire fees paid in the case of cancellation of market due to factors out of our control. Take 2 Markets reserves the right to decide or arbitrate any dispute arising out of or in the course of the conduct of the Market. Take 2 Markets reserves the right to refuse admission to the Market to any person without giving any reason for the same and to eject or cause to be ejected any person and /or his/her goods and chattels without giving any reason for the same. Take 2 Markets Market accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person who enters the Market area and all persons who enter the Market area do so at their own risk. The stallholder agrees to indemnify Take 2 Markets against all claims for damages or injury to the property or person of any persons in respect of any claim by any such person arising out of negligence on the part of the stall holder or his agents.
